Nicholls Rivulet

This large garden in Nicholls Rivulet was in need of form and structure.

We designed this garden to incorporate a sense of wandering through the space, finding something new around every corner.

Dry stone walling has been used continuously through this garden utilising local Colebrook sandstone with natural edge bluestone pavers covering the floor of the circular seating area.

Huge Cypress arbours reach to the skies forming a sturdy frame for Pierre De Ronsard roses to eventually climb up. While winding Corten steel edged crushed limestone pathways meander through the space.

Custom wicking beds crafted from local hardwood ensure the veggies always have enough water on hand as well as being protected with netting for those pesky garden intruders.
